Charlotte, NC – August 18, 2021 – The most recent associate to join Tobin & Company Investment Banking Group, LLC will no doubt be a perfect fit for the 20-year-old Charlotte-based, female-owned investment banking and securities firm. A perfect fit because he has long had the name to go along with the firm. Jon Tobin, the elder son of firm founder Justine Tobin joined the firm August 16.
Jon, who holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina State University, joins the firm from the Charlotte office of the global asset management firm Dimensional Funds Advisors, where he advised and counseled clients on a variety of investment products and services, produced investment competitive analyses to aid clients in structuring portfolios and handled strategic sales. Previously he worked with Raymond James as a financial planning consultant and Credit Suisse as a financial analyst. He holds the Series 7 and Series 66 certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Jon Tobin graduated from Myers Park High School and achieved the Eagle Scout Award from Boy Scouts of America in Troop 116 in Charlotte.
